USES

Gold, silver, red, green and purple
CONSTRUCTION
Non-laminated single ply polyester film, metallized
with an aluminum deposit on one side. Silver has a clear, colorless
lacquer over the metallized side. Gold has a transparent, colored
lacquer on both sides.
STRENGTH AND ELONGATION
(based on 1/69" width)
Elongation: 80% minimum
Breaking Strength: 250 grams minimum
Yield Point: 15 grams
DRY CLEANING AND LAUNDERING
Professional dry cleaning, using perchlorethylene only,
is preferable to laundering. Hand laundering with Woolite and cold
water is the only suggested laundering method.
IRONING
Fabrics containing 150VS should be treated like all
synthetic fabrics, 150VS should be ironed at the lowest setting on
the iron. Do not use steam when ironing.
WET PROCESSING
It is recommended that 150VS be used in only dyed yarn
constructions. 150VS is not intended for any type of wet processing.
(Some customers have successfully dyed fabrics containing 150VS, but
they do this at their own risk.)
HEAT
Dry heat up to 160° F. is acceptable.

QUALITY CONTROL
At the time of manufacture, Metlon conducts a series
of tests to insure that 150VS meets minimum physical and chemical
requirements. Copies of these tests are available from Metlon.
Because of the wide variation in individual requirements,
it is recommended that each customer conduct its own test to determine
Metlon's acceptability for its use.
