Slitting to Length - after slitting to narrow width
Slitting accurate widths to close tolerances is our niche. Our customers' needs have taken another turn. We slit to accurate widths first, and then turn the materials sideways and cut to accurate length.
Slitting to Non - Standard Widths
Odd widths and increments. Metlon's standard requests are often non-standard.
A
large inventory of cutters enables us to slit almost any size from 0.008"
(.2mm) to 48" (1219mm).
This can be done in 0.001" (0.025mm) increments between 0.0625" (1.6mm) and 48" (1219mm).
Metlon has the ability to slit almost any Metric or English size within the above minimum and maximum sizes with existing tooling.
